Dialog Science 2019
As in previous years, the office of the Science Pillar is organising the “Dialog Science” in October and November 2019. Through this initiative, the Science Pillar of the Upper Rhine Metropolitan Region offers support or co-organisation for events aimed at :
- promoting scientific cooperation projects and contributing to the visibility of the Upper Rhine area as a region of excellence in this field
- networking of scientific actors (researchers, teachers, doctoral students, students, etc.)
- and to strengthen exchanges between scientific, political, economic and social actors as well as with the general public.
For 2019, a launch event for Dialog Science will take place on 21 October on the theme of Open Science in Strasbourg. Further events will then take place throughout the Upper Rhine until the end of November. As a closing event, a first networking meeting of the actors of scientific mediation of the Upper Rhine will take place on 12 December in Mulhouse. Afterwards, a scientific aperitif will be offered jointly by the Nef des Sciences, the University of Haute Alsace (CRESAT Laboratory) and the Coordination Office of the Science Pillar.
Are you planning a scientific conference, seminar or workshop? Are you organising this event jointly with border partners or do you want to give your event a European and cross-border character?
Under the “Dialog Science” call for proposals, organisers can benefit from support from coordination Office of the Science Pillar to reach an audience beyond national borders and to find speakers. The Science Pillar also has financial levers that could help with additional costs related to the cross-border dimension of the event. Through Dialog Science, successful events will benefit from increased visibility in the region and beyond.
The call for proposals is now closed.
