Science Offensive 2011<\/h1>

The first call for projects, launched in October 2011, was largely welcomed by the scientific actors of the Trinational Metropolitan Region of the Upper Rhine. In total, 36 project proposals were submitted. At the end of the selection process, seven projects were chosen as part of the Science Offensive, funded in part by the INTERREG Upper Rhine program.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Neurogenesis and Neuroprotection for the prevention of neurological diseases or the restoration of neurological functions<\/a><\/div>

\"offsc2011-neurorhine\"<\/strong>Partners<\/strong>: University of Strasbourg, CNRS, University Hospital of Freiburg<\/p>\n

The project is aimed at understanding the mechanisms of disease and the development of therapeutic solutions for the effective prevention or elimination of damages, which are responsible for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease or painful motor neuropathy.<\/p>\n
