Management of intellectual property in cross-border projects
22 November 2016 - 9 h 00 min - 17 h 00 min
Since the concrete application of research results has been anchored in the INTERREG Upper Rhine Programme as a criterium for the selection of projets, the protection of intellectual property and its use within project consortiums have gained in importance.
Therefore, the coordination office of the science pillar organises a seminar on “management of intellectual property in cross-border projects” in order to improve the comprehension of this topic and support the use of research results in the Upper Rhine region.
The aim of this seminar is to sensitize the participants for the importance of patenting and offer basic legal knowledge on the subject. In a second part dedicated to practical information, possible ways of handling intellectual property in cross-border projects will be discussed. Moreover, plenty of information on IP-classes in the region, details on the deposition of a patent, contacts and organisations in the region will also be offered during the seminar.
The seminar is cofinanced by the European Union via the INTERREG Upper Rhine Programme. Participation is free of charge. Translation and lunch are included.
